If you have OCD, we’re guessing you’ll agree that It can be awfully hard to motivate yourself to do the therapy needed to get (and keep) your disorder in check. Yes, exposure and response prevention therapy, or ERP, is quite effective; but let's be honest: it’s also really hard work!
As two OCD survivors, we know first-hand experience how difficult OCD--and OCD therapy--can be. We also know, though, that OCD is not insurmountable. And that you can thrive, even with OCD tagging along IF you can keep the motivation needed to face the OCD Doubt Bully and use triggers to your advantage.
We invite you to join us for our e-Course, Thriving with OCD: Four Keys Out When Locked in Doubt and learn to:
If you are unable to afford this e-course but would like to enroll, please email us at jeff (at) beyondthedoubt.com and we will send you an access code. Also, if you are an OCD therapist interested in evaluating the course for use with your clients, please email us at shala (at) beyondthedoubt.com for complimentary access.
Shala and Jeff are best known as storytellers...because there's no more powerful way to share ideas than by telling stories. Jeff is the author of two books that chronicle how he tamed The Doubt Bully (and how you can, too!) and a longtime journalist and radio news anchor. Building on his own personal experience with the power of Greater Good, Jeff founded the non-profit Adversity 2 Advocacy Alliance (A2A). When he's not working on Beyond the Doubt, you'll likely find him writing (he's working on a novel with Shala) or spending time with family and friends.
With stints in corporate America and at a few start-ups and as the co-founder of a non-profit and two businesses, Shala has years of practical experience in how to thrive through uncertainty. When she's not working on Beyond the Doubt, she's likely to be writing books (three are in the works, one of which will be published in 2017), providing treatment for anxiety disorders (as a CBT therapist in Atlanta), or hanging out with family and friends, many of whom are furry.
